I’ve been a words person forever. The kind who read during recess and was asked to share my short story in front of the class. Which makes it slightly ironic that I once dropped Honors English because I was convinced I wasn’t good at it.
So I chose the “safe” route: a business degree. The one that’s supposed to open every door. It did—just not in the way I expected.
An internship turned into a portfolio, then my first copywriting role at Gap Factory. And somewhere between product descriptions, denim fits, and crafting how a brand shows up, I found my way back to it. Now I get to do the thing I once thought I couldn’t.
